...the oversized vase with a flower, she'd say, 'Put a leaf in it', then go back to reading the paper. Not terribly creative visually, but if a room could be dressed with words, she'd have been the Dali of home decor. The picture of her holding me was sent by my brother. It was new to me. I was new to her. She'd like the white shed...for sitting and reading.
