Furry Weeds

Today, I was in a garden shop where the owner was complaining about how sore her hands were from cutting and wrapping eighty-five bouquets of pussywillows. People 'round here really like them this time of year. So, while she was blathering on, I took a real close look at the furry little flower wannabes. Sticks with kitten cheeks on them...I get it now. We have some in our backyard, but I also like our side yard furry weeds. Do I dare cut them into bouquets and sell them? Don't know what they are, but I'm sure I, too, could hurt my hands on their strong stems. Not pappas grass or pussywillows...just brown and furry and stubborn. That's all you really need to be to survive.
