This is actually a statue of a crazy lady standing on the Savannah River. She was apparently a regular fixture there once upon a time, and waved a towel at a boyfriend who never returned from sea. Ahem, but couldn't anyone have told her that's not what generally brings 'em back.
So, we just spent a magnificent week in the deep south and loved every single second. Magical and mysterious and so much fun. We could all use a little more Savannah in our lives and I can't wait to go back. As a blogger, I'm mediocre at best, so I don't think I'll ever have the discipline of those who post every day...but when I do post, I reeeeally mean it. Where's the most magnificently memorable place you've ever been?
