Yesterday, I taught a workshop at the local college. Fourteen restless 'almost twenty's' and three hours of voice techniques for radio commercials, interviews etc. We didn't have tools or wood or blowtorches but there were small recording devices and good imaginations. Give or take the one girl booking her train trip online, and another with her eyes closed (she said the computer screen bothered her), I think it went rather well. One man's tool is another man's mini-microphone.
