From my kitchen window, squinting, I saw them...farmwomen from another era prepping my garden!!! Beyond my wildest dreams!!! All the straw removed, the sleeping earth turned over and aprons full of herb seeds ready for planting....like Christmas morning....all my wishes came true!!! Then I stopped squinting, slapped on the tri-focals and saw my reality....a dachsaund, a schnoodle and a manic spotted cattle dog all digging the bijayzes out of my dormant lawn. Oi.
